As I said in the last post NYC was amazing and I was only there for two days, but next time I aim to go back for a fashion show.

On the 10th of August I showed my collection at Maryland Fashion Week. So on the way there I convinced my mum to stop over in new york for a couple of days. I had been to new york one time before about two years ago and once again it was amazing. Timesquare, Fashion ave everything was just so amazing.
Also I walked past like fifteen limos so I am positive I was sooooo close to at least one famous person like Heidi Klum of maybe even Kim k.

Bringing shutters back

This is what I wore to the inside out photo shoot. You might wonder what that is.... basically it a an organisation that raises awareness for certain causes or people, they do it by taking a black and white portrait photo then print it really big and display it in a public area. LOOOOOL imagine my face just hanging in the high street :'D. Anyway but yeah I tye dyed these shorts and they cam out pretty good :)

Monochain photoshoot!

 Sorry I havent posted in ages but......................THE TIME HAS COME! My 2013 collection 'Monochain' is finally finished. I will be showing it at Africa Fashion week and Maryland Fashion week this summer, so I am super excited :D. We just had the shoot this Sunday, so here are some pics I got my camera and the actually photos will be released onto the website in due time :)

Getting ready for the summer

So recently I have had this crave for shorts (I don't know why) so I decided to buy plain jeans and use my old ones then customize them into completely different shorts. By ripping, bleaching and dyeing. So far I have made the blue, purple and pink ones :D

My work experience Interview

So for my work experience at school I will be working at a little kids boutique in Central London. At first I was abit scared because personally I prefer womenswear, but once I got there it actually looked really good soo yeah I cant wait till work experience. Also after that I decided to visit some boutique off Oxford street as well so fingures crossed the will get back to me :)

Alexander McQueen

Paris Fashion week, Sarah Burton showcased her Alexander McQueen collection bringing Elizabethan history back to life. Alexander McQueen is truly one of the most inspiring designers and I think Sarah Burton is doing a great job to keep up the name of his label. The theme of this collection is so classic and the detail in each dress is just amazing. Some might question why you would make such loud and unrealistic dresses that no one would wear regularly but fashion is a statement and collection is suppose to show a story.
